Sick of red tape and risk stuff>

Are you like a lot of my clients with one or both of two problems

1.You are not sure whether taking on more staff is actually a help of a hindrance because it is so hard to make sure they do things the way you want them done without mistakes and time wasting

2. and/or you really want to cut red tape but also go for tenders and get regulators off your back

And you want to do both of these with low paper, no B.S. systems?

Well you CAN have all this in one hour per week phone time without even leaving your office and it only takes four to six months.

I was working with a client this week who needed to get his safety and environmental systems finished in a hurry to be eligible for a tender that closed on Friday.  There was a large suite of questions in the tender document that had to be completed relating to these systems and he needed to provide real evidence that these systems were in place.

This is not a problem once you have the systems but is a big barrier if you have not.  When I talk to people involved in the other end of the tender process I hear about the number of very competitive tenders that simply get put into the bin because one of the questions about safety of environmental sustainability has not been answered or the evidence has not been produced.  All that work done for nothing!

So I started to wonder if you are one of the many people who are sick of filling in red tape and you are missing out on tenders for work that would really suit your business because you just want to run your business and you don’t really want to do all this stuff about safety, risk, environment?
You CAN cut the red tape, go for tenders, get regulators off your back with low paper, no B.S. certified systems in one hour per week phone time without even leaving your office and it only takes four to six months.

If you are sick of missing out on tenders because you can’t complete all the red tape, or worse, you send them off without every box ticked and still miss out because they just bin it because you have no certification? Or you find the process frustrating because the seem to be ever more demanding,

Then you are in the right place now because I can help you get your quality, safety and/or environmental certifications in around four to six months without even leaving your office with one hour each week contact time.

And I help you keep it really simple so that it works for you – not you for the system!

Einstein said, "Any fool can make things bigger and more complex. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction."

When it comes to management systems, most consultants do make things bigger and more complex....

BUT I DON"T! I like low paper and no B.S.   I keep it simple because it works best that way

I suspect that  most of you want a sustainable business because sustainability is a profitable business with all time-bombs defused, your risks managed, your workplace is safe, your customers are happy, you do not pollute the environment and you do this best with simple and effective low paper management systems and hey, don’t forget I can help you!

P.S. you can get rid of your risks and discover just how easy accreditation can be so that YOU can quickly get your Quality, Safety and Environment ISO certification and increase efficiency, get the best value from your staff, fulfull tender rquirements and attract more clients.

Can we get cheaper, greener means of producing hydrogen

If a relatively cheap, efficient and carbon-neutral means of producing hydrogen can be developed  it would command a key role in future renewable energy technology..............

Rudd’s mistake on ETS was not engaging us all.

For various reasons, climate change is no longer as high a priority as it was when the Rudd government came to power.  At that time people generally accepted there was a looming and they expected to be recruited into the war on global warming in the same way they are recruited into the battle to conserve water, via restrictions on consumption.

Voters were so impressed by Rudd’s apparent passion and conviction on climate change, they were expecting to be called on to reduce their own carbon emissions and to take positive action to reduce their demand for energy – drive less, fly less, turn off unnecessary lights in the house, wear clothing that would minimise our reliance on heaters and air-conditioners, etc, etc.

This did not happen.  Instead.................

What About Coal Seam Gas Water?

In most cases the huge amount of water coming to the surface with the coal seam gas is salty as well as being there in huge amounts.  There is real concern about the potential to pollute the aquifers and this is seriously concerning the farmers.

I must confess that I was very uneasy when I heard one mining industry spokesman saying that over the next 20-50 years technology will be developed to solve the problem of polluted aquifers!  Yoiks!  If I was in authority I would remove his licence immediately!!

This is a large and growing industry.  The first contracts to sell coal seam gas to the Chinese have already been signed and..........

Safety First Please – Or Not!

Here is just sample of what was in the paper THIS week about bad safety in Australian businesses.  And this discusses the legal consequences.  PLUS there are other ongoing impacts like increased insurance premiums adding to your overheads and an enormous emotional toll on your entire workforce that does not just go away overnight.

The crazy thing is that having a safe workplace and a simple system with training, maintenance and feedback reporting is very simple to implement and it can be low paper and save you time as well because it increases your workplace efficiency as well as your safety...........7 examples ........

Rudd has upset China on emissions inaction

A leading Chinese government adviser has criticised the gap between what Kevin Rudd’s says and what he does on climate change has reduced the chance that the world can curb global warming before it is too late.

What caused the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill

Investigators are working on understanding what went wrong when the rig exploded on April 20 and started spilling millions of gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico and are sure to find a whole series of engineering failures, from cement seals that didn’t hold back a powerful gas bubble to a 450-ton, 40-foot-tall blowout preventer to a stack of metal valves and pistons that each failed to close off the well.........................

The Swiss have unveiled water cooling for supercomputers

Up to half of a data centre’s energy consumption is used in the powering of air cooling systems necessary to prevent supercomputers from overheating. So the new water cooling system, called Aquasar, aims to cut the excess power consumption....................

Australia One of the 10 worst environmental offenders

Researchers have assessed more than 150 countries on land clearing, carbon emissions and species loss and this has dispelled the view that poorer countries are mainly to blame for trashing the environment.

Large-scale land clearing in Brazil puts that country at the top, while Australia is ninth.................
